More than a kilometre of security fencing, multiple gate systems and extensive concrete plinth works formed part of LS Fencing’s scope on the Uungula Wind Farm Connection Project.
Delivered for Downer Utilities and built to TransGrid standards, the project included 388m of 3.0m TransGrid weld mesh fencing with 550mm concertina razor wire, 692m of 2.4m chainwire fencing with eight strands of barbed wire, and 1,080m of concrete mowing and drainage plinths.
The gate works included an automated sliding vehicle gate with motor, safety sensors and keypad, 6m manual double swing gates, and PA gates forming airlock enclosures.
LS Fencing also produced the shop drawings and footing design, coordinating the fencing and plinth works around other trades across multiple mobilisations.
